During the past 12 years, I have created many dynamic websites using Active Server Pages, which are also known as ASP, and are now referred to as ASP Classic. Most of them are database-driven and have Microsoft Access or SQL Server back-ends. I use VBScript, which is a simplified version of Microsoft Visual Basic, for server-side scripting.
